Streamkeepers 2-Day Training May 15/16 and May 29/30
The training is full but we have a waiting list with 10 people so it looks like we will be having a third training weekend in June. If you would like to be added, please email us.
Would you like to learn to improve salmon habitat and protect our beautiful local streams? Would you like to learn how to monitor the health of these creeks? Do you have local knowledge about fish, wildlife, plants you would like to share with other volunteers? Join other people that share your passion for salmon!
You will have hands-on introduction to fish habitat, stream restoration, aquatic life identification and waterway stewardship.
Participants who complete the 2-day training will receive a Streamkeepers certificate from the Pacific Streamkeepers Federation.
Must be 18 years of age and older. Only 12 spots per training.
Our long-term goal is that EVERY stream and creek on the Coast is cared for by the people who love what we have and want to protect it for future generations!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at scstreamkeepers@gmail.com to register.
