Forest Operations Map #1214 provides locations of road construction and forest harvesting operations currently planned and proposed by BCTS-Chinook Business Area within the Forest Development Units of the Sunshine Coast FSP #672. The shapes shown on this map are gross shapes that include reserve areas. TA0520 is a preliminary shape and has not had any field work done at this point.

BC Timber Sales Sunshine Coast Business Area Invitation to Comment—Forest Operations Map
The public is invited to review and comment on the BC Timber Sales Sunshine Coast Business Area (BCTS TCH) Forest Operations Map #1214. The Map shows proposed road construction and cut block development under Forest Stewardship Plan #672 within Forest Development Units in the Sunshine Coast. The Map will be valid for the operating period from
May 5, 2024 – May 5, 2027. During the operating period, the Timber Sales Manager may invite applications for Timber Sale Licences for the harvesting of cut blocks shown on the Map and apply for road permits to construct roads shown on the Map.
The Map is available for public review and comment online, at:

The Map is also available for in-person review and comment by appointment at the BCTS THC office, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at:
